Summary
The monsoon in Bangladesh is a saviour inland, yet a hazard on the sea shore. Early in May, all India's attention is drawn to the city of Trivandrum and its meteorology centre. The centre's director will be the first to know of the monsoon's arrival as it enters the country through southern India. But if the monsoon is a relief for the farmers, the fishermen know that with the choppy and treacherous sea and the heavy rain to come, their activity will slow right down. Except at the time of the "chakara". (From France, in French, English and Malayalam, English subtitles and narration)--Website
